Within the scope of the DOKSAY Project, the first evaluation meeting for the Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan to be prepared for the Kireçhane micro-basin in Salarha, Rize, was held at the General Directorate of Combating Desertification and Erosion (ÇEM).

During the meeting, the content and preparation processes of the plan were discussed, and methods were evaluated for considering the work to be carried out in the Kireçhane micro-basin as a model application in line with the goal of promoting integrated natural resources management in micro-basins across the country.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Kasım Yenigün, Director General of ÇEM; Deputy Director General Maruf Aras; Advisor Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydoğdu; Project Coordinators and ÇEM experts Sibel Nihal Tekin and Adem Kürşat Özcan; Deputy Director General of Nature Conservation Centre Yıldıray Lise; and Project Field Coordinator Esra Kartal.
